Resettlement Action Plans
A Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) is a mandatory document for development projects causing involuntary displacement, outlining procedures to compensate, relocate, and restore the livelihoods of affected people to pre-project levels. It details the legal framework, compensation rates, livelihood restoration, and grievance mechanisms to ensure fair treatment. Tenvicon has prepared RAP reports for infrastructure projects in Uganda including roads and mining projects.
